Clinic overview:
Emory’s Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP) is an interdisciplinary clinical research program that aims to provide and improve best practices for children and adolescents with mental health difficulties. The CAMP team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and postdoctoral fellows who work collaboratively to provide exceptional treatment for your child or adolescent. We provide outpatient clinical services including psychopharmacological evaluations and medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, parent skills training, group therapy, and diagnostic, intelligence, and achievement testing. We specialize in working with children under the age of 18 presenting with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. You can find out more information about specific clinical programs here.
At CAMP, we maintain a strong focus on translational and clinical research studies in additional to our regular clinical work. We are strongly committed to the model that science should inform practice, and clinical practice should inform science.
