Emory's Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP) is an interdisciplinary clinical research program that aims to provide and improve best practices for children and adolescents with mental health difficulties. The CAMP team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, postdoctoral fellows, and masters-level clinicians who work collaboratively to provide exceptional treatment for your child or adolescent.
We provide outpatient clinical services including psychopharmacological evaluations and medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, parent skills training, group therapy, and diagnostic, intelligence, and achievement testing. We specialize in working with children and adolescents with mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder) and anxiety disorders. You can find out more information about specific clinical programs here.
At CAMP, we maintain a strong focus on translational and clinical research studies in addition to our regular clinical work. We are strongly committed to the model that science should inform practice, and clinical practice should inform science. You can find more information about our current research projects by clicking here.
Our vision is that CAMP will become the premier clinical, research, and educational center for mood and anxiety disorders among children and adolescents in the Southeastern United States.
